Established in 2000 by Kofi and Rebekah Mawuko, Mawre & Co. is dedicated to raising awareness of the world’s cultures in a desire to bring about a peaceful society through the arts.  Their exposure in the Southeast USA continues to grow as performing and teaching artists “keeping the heritage alive”.

Their cultural enrichment programs are a tremendous success because they are designed to develop fundamental knowledge of the arts that will enable appreciation of varied artistic expression, creative participation in the arts, and identification of relationships between the arts and other aspects of life.  In addition to being strongly grounded in the development of analytical, communicative, literary physical skills, the programs serve to stimulate a sense of comprehension, articulation, balance and movement, resulting in emotional, intellectual, physical and social growth.
